With Your Support
Your contribution helps bring this deeply personal story to completion — told through hand-drawn animation and the Hakka language, rarely heard on screen. Beyond finishing the film, your support preserves cultural memory and amplifies Malaysian and Hakka voices in global cinema — a story of family that endures through generations and transcends borders.
Where Your Support Goes
Did you know every second of 2D animation can take up to 24 individual drawings? That’s over 1,400 hand-crafted frames for just one minute of film. Your support helps bring those frames to life — funding animation, sound, and post-production while allowing us to stay fully independent. Each contribution keeps The Greatest House My Father Built true to its roots and ensures this story reaches audiences around the world.

Such a precious story narrated in an equally precious dialect - as someone whose father is Hakka, it's incredible moving to see this language being represented on screen. So excited to see all of this artistry come together!
